I made Oklahoma Christian University my home in 2013. After visiting in February of that year, I fell in love with it. I had barely considered it an option because it was so far away. While I was intentionally looking for somewhere far away, Oklahoma was hardly on my mind. At the behest of my mother, we visited.

To this day, I am thankful for this university. The professors are not only wise, encouraging mentors; some, I consider personal friends. I have met people and formed relationships that will last longer and grow deeper than I could ever be worthy of. I have been given opportunities that may have passed me up at larger schools. I have grown personally in ways I never could have anticipated.

I graduated in April 2017. Despite my issues with some of OC's policies, it's hard to imagine my college years anywhere else.

Cheers to you, OC.
